A Guided Walking Tour of Morella, Els Ports

Directions;

Take the AP7 towards Valencia which will lead into the CV10, take exit 41, continue on the CV 10 until it turns into the CV 132. The N232 will take you to Morella.
Once in Morella go through the castle gates and follow signs for parking. The hotel is a very short walk away.


Day 1 – Monday 2nd October

You are allowed to enter your hotel room from 1pm onwards.

You have a little time to settle in before we meet in the hotel lobby at 3.30pm for a walk around the town, taking in the magnificent architecture and learning a little about the history of the area.

We will visit the main magnificent church of Santa Barbara and walk up and around the Castle. (This has an entry fee of 3.50 euros)

Day 2 – Tuesday 3rd October

10am – After breakfast we’ll meet in the hotel lobby for the main walk; a 15km walk from Morella to Xiva de Morella (Another village) where we will stop for a drink and a picnic before heading back through the forests.
(There is an option here for those who want a shorter walk to leave a car here for a return).

Packed lunch provided.

Walking boots and sticks are recommended for this walk.

 
Day 3 – Wednesday 4th October

10am – Again after breakfast we’ll meet in the hotel lobby for your last walk; a 10km, 275m ascent stroll around the countryside of a neighbouring village; Forcall. The village itself is stunning with lots of drystone wall houses and a beautiful church. The walk takes in the wonderful scenery and beauty of the area whilst including some great quirky houses, amazing rock formations and caves to see.

Cars will be required to get to the start of this one but we will car share as much as possible.

Packed lunch provided.

Footnote; 

An option to eat together in either the hotel or a local restaurant every evening will be provided (not included in price) but you are welcome to make your own arrangements.
